About the Job
PURPOSE OF THE JOB
- Lead Financial Control mission for supply chain operations in South Africa & Kenya (oversee local team)
- Support the DC Director and Cluster CFO on the Logistics Performance understanding/Challenges
- Maintain alignment between operations, LTIP (Long Term Industrial Plan, LTLP (Long Term Logistic Plan) and Business needs
KEY TASKS/Processes:
- Closing and Reporting
- Responsible of Logistics P&L and BS: Sales, Base costs efficiency, Accruals &Provisions, cash and Stocks management, Risk assessment, Productivities measurement/follow-up
- Synchronize and monitor the closing with accounting team
- Provide the HFM Reporting and AOC (Analysis of Change) according to Corporate deadlines: understanding of each productivity drivers and reconciliation with Greenfile and OTTO (Purchasing tool), Labor, Transports, Others, identify Gaps and propose actions/Plan to reach target
- SFC and MBC Costs Control and adaptation to volume
- Understand the upstream Flow and Logistics cost impact on CCO P&L
- Understanding of Supply Chain GM contribution on FO P&L
- Capex and Inventory Management
- Prepare ROI analysis for CAPEX, prepare BCI`s and challenge the operational on real impacts benefits vs spends
- Stocks & obsolescence: reporting & analysis (stock by supplier, DIN, GIT-processes etc), challenge unhealthy stock provisions in the DC, co-operate closely with DSP and other departments (f.e. marketing for campaigns)
- Forecast accuracy and Challenges (SIOP Process)
- Stocks & obsolete forecast reconciliation HFM vs One-MM Tool
- Stock accuracy: annual stock take & cycle counts
- Business Related Topics
- Lead the Quarterly Rolling Forecast, Business Review, Prior Process, Risks Management
- Lead the Annual CSC Campaign &TP
- Follow up KPI`s linked to logistics performance (Net Productivity, Logistic Volume, OTDS, DIN, NO, LCS etc.…)
- Involvement in tailored supply chain projects: optimization of lead-time-reduction, BCI preparation
- Maintain the Logistics cost on Sales ratio 2%, and give visibility to CFO
- Lead the KICs (Keys Internal Controls)
- Understand the SIOP Process and be part of the CSF Process with Country FO
- Understand the SPS (Schneider Performance System) basics
- Assist the Factory and DC manager on financial impacts on people related (Hiring, competency review, salary review targets…) in collaboration with HRBP
- Improve Processes and digitization
Qualifications
- University or Business School Master Degree
- Minimum 5 years working experience in Controlling
- Good knowledge in cost accounting and in IAS/ IFRS rules
- Experienced SAP R/3, FICO knowledge as well as advanced knowledge in Microsoft Office, in particular Excel, HFM, Essbase, BI Tool
- High analytic skills to construct/execute complex analysis
- Experience in Product Industrial Costing (Full cost, Activity Based Costing)
