We are seeking an Electrical/Test Engineering Co-op for 6-month assignment starting June 2019 to join our newly formed industrialization group whose mission is to manage new product launch in multiple North American and international sites.

What do you get to do in this position?

  • Design, develop, fabricate and troubleshoot electronic and electro-mechanical test equipment in New Product Development.
  • Participate in SW development related to electronic and/or electro-mechanical test equipment using Excel Macro, VB.Net or C++ programming.
  • Work on Engineering projects related to New Product Introduction
  • Assist engineering with assembly/Test equipment design, experiments and pilot builds
  • Analyze performance of Test operations and develop efficiency improvements
  • Analyze customer returns to determine failure mode. Implement test coverage enhancements as needed


Qualifications
This job might be for you if:

  • You are pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or related technical field at an accredited college or university
  • Enjoy working on complex engineering challenges in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Enjoy working with equipment such as DMM's, Oscilloscopes, Function Generators, Automated Test Equipment as well as fabrication of bench-type systems.
  • Desire to have autonomy and drive projects to completion
  • Willing to work in our Foxboro, MA facility
