Our Buildings business creates integrated, multi-layered solutions that specialise in combining building services & intelligent automated systems including; HVAC, BMS, CCTV, Access Control and Energy Management, Metering & Monitoring.
Our solutions enable owners, end users and custodians, (Hospitals, Commercial, Retail, Industrial, Residential and Government buildings) to intelligently monitor, meter and control the attributes of their assets in real time, reducing consumption and improving reliability and quality.
Based in Notting Hill, Victoria and reporting to the Manager of Services , we have an exciting and challenging role for a Technical Solutions Engineer to join our team. You will promote Schneider Electric's service offerings by building strong customer relationships coupled with system analytics which in turn will generate small works, system upgrades and spot works. Also providing technical support to Key Account Managers (KAMs) and Service Delivery Managers (SDMs) with proposals.
You are ambitious with high motivation levels, exceptional communication skills , and your experience within the Buildings industry, coupled with comprehensive knowledge of Schneider Electric Product range has you regarded as the subject matter expert/trusted advisor in equal measure.

The following will be key to your success :
- Achieving growth through solid relationships with our customers, gaining a detailed understanding of their requirements via Schneider Electric analytics prior to site visits Aligning our solutions offer accordingly to suit our customers specific needs Proposal construction and technical proposal support to KAMs and SDMs Creating consistent pricing solutions Building relationships at all levels with construction contractors, high end consulting engineering firms, government and other stakeholders Being aware of market trends and the work you want to capture
Demonstrable experience in Small and Spot Works, supported by a solid track record of working with Facility Managers and other end users in a maintenance capacity would be an advantage.
You will demonstrate adaptability in technical sales and leadership by means of a success in multiple sectors with different products/solutions offerings and as an accomplished customer facing professional you will demonstrate success in building strategic relationships with key decision makers and stakeholders in our target customer groups
