Job Description:

The successful candidate is expected to carry out the following responsibilities.

  • Hands on experience on Triconex, Trident and TriGP Systems.
  • Wonderware InTouch HMI experience.
  • Commissioning and startup experience of Triconex SIS systems in petrochemical, oil & gas upstream and downstream processing facilities and Power plants.
  • Troubleshooting and maintenance experience on Triconex systems.
  • Experience with Triconex software including TriStation, TriLogger, SOE recorder, Safety Validator, SIF Manager.
  • Networking design and troubleshooting experience.
  • Flexibility to travel to sites with in Canada and US to provide maintenance, commissioning and start up support for SIS/DCS Projects.


An experienced professional with a basic understanding and experience of Triconex Systems and Safety and Control applications.

Works on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors. Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions. Networks with senior internal and external personnel in own area of expertise.

Normally receives little instruction on day-to-day work, general instructions on new assignments. Determines and develops approach to solutions. May function as project lead or supervise/mentor other personnel.

Typically requires a minimum of 1 - 2 years of Triconex experience on Safety Applications. Eligibility to become APEGGA member is preferred.
