About the Job

Main responsibilities

Collects productivity improvement ideas from the support functions, (plant diagnosis, mobility studies, PEP, TCO calculation, value analysis…). Submits the proposed ideas to the decision-making process

Manages, as project manager, cross-functional plant's productivity plans Duties included:
- Building productivity plans with support functions: Product Engineering, Logistics, Quality, Mfg Engineering (Methods), Plant Purchasing Manager (PPM) and Buyers
- Ensuring resources are available to execute the plans
- For component transfers: Managing action plans. Carrying out the follow-up and ensuring deliverable items are completed on time by players as per the project milestones and according to the Part Transfer and the Supplier Disengagement Guidelines ( Logistic terms, PPEP, RFQ, Qualification reports,…)
- For technical productivity: Managing action plans. Ensuring the follow-up of plant's requests to Product Engineering department (TEMPO requests,…).
- Attending Board Of Change meetings if it's necessary to boost technical productivity actions, in support of the plant MCO (Manufacturing Change Owner).
- Issuing monthly follow-up summary to management level along with risk analyses and back-up plans
- Escalating to management level, in case of major discrepancy vs. plans
- Drawing Year-End Forecasts from on-going plans

Participates in the comparison of plant material productivity plans with purchasing productivity announcements and targets (attends OTTO - APM - AOC mergers)


Hierarchical reporting to Plant Manager . He is a member of Plant's Management team
Functional reporting to Department Material Productivity Project Manager (MPM)

Performance criteria and evaluation

- Material productivities regarding supplier changes and technical actions
- Spend transferred (included rebalancing program transfers)
- Number of parts transferred
- Number of disengaged suppliers.

- Management of support resources outside the plant
Analytical Skills
- Ability to carry out costs analysis, e.g.: total cost of ownership, investment cost and payback period
- Vocational skills and experience in two of the following areas : Logistics, Quality, Methods, Purchasing, Product Engineering
Communication skill
- Ability to work with international teams. Speaks English
