- Lead projects involving cross-functional teams focused on plant strategy gowth projects. Responsible for meeting the scope, schedule, resource and budget commitments reflected in the PM Plan. Create and own the Project Management Plan to ensure quality on time delivery of the project deliverables. Implement and enforce change control over project scope, schedule, resources and budget. Negotiate with functional managers and/or organizational management to obtain adequate resources with appropriate skills to staff the project team. Participate in the timely resolution of issues, help to identify root cause of problem, offer solutions to resolve problems, escalate issues when necessary Continually identify and proactively manage project risks & issues, ensure execution of corrective action plans. Monitor the project and report the project status and metrics to management on a regular basis. Provide leadership and influence enabling continuous process improvement. Provide mentoring and coaching for the project management and functional organization as appropriate. Lead meetings with external suppliers to execute on time installation of new equipment. Follow-up and execute plant layout rearrangement strategy. (Building 1 expansion). Research and develop new automation processes for high volume lines.
- Bachelor Degree in Engineering, Project Management, Technical or equivalent Advanced degree or educational program preferred
- +2 years' experience in manufacturing processes and continuous improvement. Advance lean tools. Construction and layouts management experience. +1 year Experience in project management.
The well qualified candidate will possess the following knowledge and skills:
- PMP certification = clear understanding and experience applying the technical discipline of Project Mgmt Demonstrated success in a multi matrixed, multi-location global organization Highly effective leadership, communications, influence management and interpersonal skills Technical and situational problem solving and analytical mind set Project business case financial knowledge with strong focus on business equations identification and monitoring throughout the project lifecycle Must be a self-starter with high drive and passion for results and success PC software proficiency (Excel, Word, Project, PowerPoint,)
