Agile team leader
About the Job
Do you enjoy building up something new, creating great working processes and leading your team to success? Do you want to become an expert among experts and work with state-of-the-art technologies?
Make a difference - join Schneider Electric
At Schneider Electric, we help our customers make the most of their energy by being the best at what we do. You will join 60 dedicated colleagues in our IT Digital Services & Software department in Kolding, Denmark. We create software that manages and monitors global data centers of all sizes. Our development methods are based on good agile principles inspired by Scrum and Kanban with a twist of scaling since we are several teams working on the same product.
Lead a team of specialists
As our new agile team lead, you will head up one or two of our cross-functional feature teams, working on a new project aimed at defining and developing a ground-breaking SaaS product. We are using the MVP (Minimum Viable Product) method amongst other core concepts from Lean UX, in close collaboration with 20-30 selected customers. Your team will be responsible for everything from designing to implementing and testing new features. The team members will report into you, and working as an integrated member of your team, you will:
- facilitate ideation and agile processes, including retrospectives
- prepare mock-ups and storyboards aimed at early feedback (from customers as well)
- prioritize work on existing features against new features
- coordinate backlogs and collaborate with our remaining teams
Who are you?
We are looking for a candidate with several years of experience to lead some of our great agile teams.
Regardless of your experience, you want to help build reliable and effective new products. But perhaps more importantly, you understand and value positive team dynamics. You see it as your prime responsibility to create an environment for your team to strive and do what they do best. In addition, you:
- have a degree in IT, information science, interaction design, product development or equivalent
- may have experience building B2B and/or B2C software
- understand agile development and enjoy contributing to UX and concept development
Our development is based in Kolding, Denmark, but you will also collaborate with our teams in Boston, US. Across both sites, you will meet a work environment focused on work-life balance, collaboration and creativity. To help our team members grow, we regularly provide training across multiple topics, be it the latest technology, new development processes, or personal development.
