Sr Electromechanics /Electrotechnology Designer
Performs the operational part of a subassembly study based on a predefined technical specification. Adapts already tested solutions.
Issue Resolution: Ability to identify issues and risks, analyze and understand underlying causes, and devise appropriate action plans.
Application Needs Understanding: Knowledge and understanding of key market segments and customer application needed and ability to convert them into functional and technical specifications.
Engineering Skills: Ability to propose and deploy new technical solutions (by utilizing knowledge of new technologies, intellectual properties, and technical constraints) and to optimize design from the performance and cost perspective using modelization approach.
Efficiency through Methods & Tools: Ability to master methods and computer aided design & test tools, to anticipate their impact on efficiency and to be a role model.
Design to cost: Ability to use all tools, methods and rules for cost evaluation and optimization of designed items.
Materials: Demonstrate scientific understanding, design, application and properties of materials.
Product Electro-Technology: Demonstrate scientific understanding and design ability of electromechanical products/systems. This includes electrical and mechanical design of conductor systems & electrical components products.
Equipment Electro-Technology: Demonstrate the ability to design electromechanical equipment/systems by assembly of component parts, connectics & enclosure mechanics - taking into account the electrical, kinematics and thermal behavior of the resulting mechanism.
Electromechanics Engineering: Demonstrate utilization of software tools to simulate, model, design, experiment and measure results.
Safety and Security Applications: Demonstrate knowledge of industrial standards and all applicable end user safety requirements/procedures in order to design products or equipment.
Achieve Sustainable Results: Ensure successful execution of strategies. Monitor and follow-up on plans using relevant metrics (short-term and long-term). Take the necessary steps to overcome obstacles and push goals. Maintain high levels of energy in a fast-paced environment.
- A.D. Mechanical Drafter or B.D. Industrial Designer
- 5 Years of experience in CAD activities - ProE / Creo Preferred
- Data Management (ex. Windchill) skills
- Knowledge in Electrical Equipment is a plus, sheet metal, copper / aluminum busbars.
- Knowledge in Tolerance Management systems, ISO 8015, etc.
- Competencies and skills: negotiation, self-learner, self-managed, leadership, empowerment.
- Advanced English level
