What do you get to do in this position?

Under the direction of the Collections Team Lead this position will perform the collection duties for the Project and services credit and collection function for mulitiple Schneider Electric Buildings Americas Branch Entities with responsbility for safeguarding the company's investment in accounts receivable.


· The collection of accounts receivable for an assigned area.
· Perfect Lien and Bond rights to minimize loss / risk.
· Complete and document daily collection calls and identify high risk accounts.
· Familiar with reviewing the credit worthiness of customers as it pertains to collections.
· Responsible for escalating problematic accounts in a timely fashion.
· Maintain and improve compliance with the Collection policy and procedures.
· Meet defined collections goals and activities in a high paced high volume environment. Metrics | SLA's
· Present status of assigned accounts either written or verbally in department/branch/company meetings for delinquent accounts.
· Interface with internal and external customers regarding changes in credit eligibility including liens and preliminary notices.
· Develop and maintain relations with key internal and external customers.
· Participate in improving the business by offering alternatives to existing Credit and Collection methods.
· Document all accounts receivable communications on the internal system for collections


This job might be for you if You fit the following Requirements:

· Knowledge of construction mechanic lien and bond rights.
· Strong computer skills including excel/work/Microsoft Office with experience in Dynamics, Baan, SAP or other related ERP System.
· Excellent communication and presentation skills
· 2+ years in Construction Related Collections
· Bachelor's degree (Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, International
· Business or similar)
· Minimal travel; must have valid Passport and visa to be able to travel to the US
· Strong English both verbal and written required
