Scope :
Runs the Distribution Requirement Planning (DRP) and the forecast upload for the full DC and/or assigned flows. Integrates other demand data as necessary to provide a complete view of demand to supplying plants. Is responsible to manage the stocking policy review in assigned Distribution Centers (DC1 and DC2), to achieve expected service to customers while optimizing inventory levels.

Main Activities:
Ø Check daily OTDs RCA. Propose corrective and preventive actions to ensure service target and stock availability.
Ø To participate in BOL reviews and lead assigned actions related to stock availability.
Ø Monitor Stock Transfer Order (STO) delivery performance, plant to DC.
Ø To lead the Stocking Policy review for assigned DC scope, in collaboration with country Marketing teams and manufacturing plants.
Ø To gather and monitor all marketing stocking requests
Ø To set the optimum stock parameters (Safety Stock, Lot Size, Qmax, etc.)
Ø To run assigned DRP flows, and upload and provide final supply plan input for assigned ERPs (plant and DC)

o To challenge DP (from IG and OG flows) to achieve good accuracy on Forecast
o Integrate IG flows from SSP (aka, Vfast) and/or other sources as needed to provide a complete view of IG and OG demand in assigned supply plans.

Ø Ensure the quality and consistency of key data: Lead Time Quantity, Stocking Policy, etc.
Ø To secure the correct MRP settings in ERP (ERP site-specific Supply Planners only)
Ø To check and validate MPR proposal (ERP site-specific Supply Planners only)
Ø To prepare in coordination with Demand Planners and Marketing the introduction of new products and withdrawal of old ones (phase-in / phase-out).
Ø To lead the necessary actions to reach inventory targets and reduce excess and obsolete stock (UH stock management)

o To set-up necessary controls to minimize new obsolete creation
o To lead scrapping campaigns in coordination with BU and Country Marketing
o To escalate the necessary cases to SIOP cycles
Ø To coordinate rebalancing opportunities Inter-Region and Intra-Region

Note: Except for ERP site-specific Supply Planners, responsibility does not include Master Production Planning or Manufacturing MPS responsibility; these remain the responsibility of Plant Managers (per SPS).

This position requires a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Management, Supply Chain Management, or Operations Management and two years of work experience in supply chain using ERP systems such as SAP. Preferred work experience includes participation in Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) and developing data analysis tools in Excel, Access, Visual Basic, SQL, and dashboard software such as Tableau.
