Corporate Risk helps all Wells Fargo businesses identify and manage risk. The team focuses on several key risk types, including conduct, credit, financial crimes, information security, interest rate, liquidity, market, model, operational, regulatory compliance, reputation, strategic, and technology risk.

The group provides leadership, enhances communications, assists with problem identification and solutions, and shares best practices. In addition, the group provides an enterprise-wide view of risk, assists management and our Board of Directors in identifying and monitoring risks that may affect multiple lines of business, and takes appropriate action when business activities exceed the risk tolerance of the company.

Wells Fargo Commercial Distribution Finance (CDF) provides inventory financing solutions, service, and intelligence, in-depth industry expertise and a commitment to customers. As a leading provider in specialized financing and servicing solutions, CDF delivers when it comes to helping facilitate the manufacturing, distribution, and sale of products across a variety of industries from Powersports, Marine, and Recreational Vehicles, to Outdoor Lawn & Garden, Agriculture, Technology, and Electronics & Appliances.

The CDF Credit Administration role is responsible for applying strong subject matter knowledge and to serve as a credible challenge authority regarding credit performance, portfolio activities, and conformity to risk appetite, credit culture, and policies. Duties will include, but are not limited to:

  • Collating information requests for the CCO, GSCO, and other parties
  • Coordinating and acting as primary contact for audit engagements
  • Managing LOB to IRM escalation processes, participating in assessing credit performance, trends, and potential of emerging risks, and assisting in policy process, oversight of CDF credit systems/applications, and other duties as assigned


Required Qualifications

  • 6+ years of risk experience
  • 6+ years of commercial lending experience



Desired Qualifications

  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • A BS/BA degree or higher in accounting, finance, or economics
  • Ability to work and influence successfully within a matrix environment and build effective business partnerships with all levels of team members



Other Desired Qualifications
  • Floorplan lending experience or Commercial lending experience
  • Knowledge of Credit Polices, CDF SOPs and process/systems, and Field Services knowledge
  • Proactive thought process to effectively manage requests and execute
