Our technology team partners with the Data Management and Insights (DMI) team, designing the future data environment and its operation in the data infrastructure for the company.

The highest priority project this position will deliver for is the eONE initiative.  This will establish the authoritative data source for corporate finance and corporate risk management data for in-scope risk and regulatory reporting.  eONE will create a federated, coordinated set of applications and databases to support Risk and Finance, which will allow for agile and accurate risk and regulatory reporting and analytics along with internal data governance polices.

This position will play a role in the delivery for the eONE enterprise initiative and the availability of this data.  The successful candidate may work with risk, project management, technology, DMI and other groups throughout the company to ensure this data is successfully provisioned from approved provisioning points and other temporary tactical sources that translate into the eONE data repository.

This will serve as part of the Data Management and Reporting team within an organization supporting the Consumer APP application on the Enterprise Data Lake.

• Analyzes complex requirements and translates to technical design and specifications
• Design, develop, test, and implement application ETL (Extract, Transform and Load) code
• Follows all software development life-cycle processes and standards
• Develops new documentation, departmental technical procedures and user guides
• Follows change and incident management processes
• Participates in design reviews
• Tracks code merge and branching process for releases
• Provides analysis and design support for production enhancements, problem tickets and other issue resolution.
• Willing to work non-standard hours as needed

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of database design and administration experience
  • 5+ years of experience with data analysis and documentation
  • 3+ years of ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) Programming experience
  • 3+ years of testing or quality assurance experience
  • 2+ years of SDLC (System Development Life Cycle) experience

Desired Qualifications

  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • 5+ years of SQL experience
  • Data warehouse experience
  • Big Data experience
  • Experience with Ab Initio or other ETL tools

Other Desired Qualifications
  • Experience with Ab Initio suite of tools –Express>IT
  • Experience with Big Data platforms – Hadoop, MapR, Hive, Parquet

Job Expectations

  • Ability to travel up to 5% of the time
  • Ability to work outside of regular business hours
