This role consists of a variety of corporate responsibilities in the applicable business unit. Assignments in the training program are based on the company’s needs and the candidate’s background, skills, and interests. Upon successful completion of the training program, trainees have the opportunity to post into a regular position where they can apply the knowledge they have gained and assume greater responsibilities.

The Ameriprise Financial Leadership Development Program offers participating individuals exposure to a variety of digital capabilities and programs within Interactive Marketing. The Interactive Marketing team creates powerful digital products and experiences that support the client-advisor relationship and help clients reach their financial goals.


Individuals will gain direct leadership experience by working closely with digital Product Owners on two different agile digital product teams in Interactive Marketing during two 6 month rotations on two of these teams:
- Secure Client Site on
- Client Mobile App
- Public site

Responsibilities include:
Gaining a strong understanding of the digital product, working closely with the User Experience strategy team to build competitive and user knowledge, partnering with the digital analytics team to develop key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics dashboards, maintaining and updating the product roadmap, and actively participating in agile team ceremonies including daily standups, sprint planning, and backlog grooming.
In addition to the two six month rotations on digital product teams, the program will also include two three month rotations - one in the digital analytics team and one in the user experience strategy team.

Required Qualifications

-Senior Status in college with minimum GPA requirement of 3.0
-A degree focus in Business Administration/Management, Project Management, Entrepreneurial Management, or Marketing, management information systems, or related field
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills
-Commitment to complete the full leadership development program
