About the Job

This role is responsible for management and administration of United and commercial logistics for multiple product lines. They will manage daily operations for multiple departments and levels of staff.  They will be responsible for overseeing warehouse management, product logistics, supply chain management, warehousing, inventory, quality control, and delivery of all products to the multiple United business lines and Viviy’s commercial accounts. In conjunction with the Director of Regulatory Adherence, ensure and compliance with FDA and ISO, supply chain best practices and processes, and the quality control systems to support the delivery of product lines. 


This position works closely with product management, customer support, and IT to ensure product readiness and customer needs are met. Managing supply chain, quality control, cost control, and on-time delivery are key success factors for this

Primary Responsibilities:           
  • Direct, coach and train logistics workforce that includes United and commercial logistic teams and 3rd parties to deliver on the multiple product lines
  • Maintain and enhance end to end internal structures and strategies to meet standards consistently, ensure efficiency, increase productivity, and identify potential areas for system development or improvements related to Vivify’s logistics services
  • Actively pursue cost saving projects that bring financial value to the group. This involves continuous review of device procurement, the transportation network and warehouse operations to meet cost, productivity, accuracy and timeliness targets
  • Manage vendor relations, including identification of new vendors; develop and establish relationships to meet standards and production demands, and manage ongoing vendor relationships
  • Direct, optimize and coordinate full order cycle
  • Design, develop, and produce relevant performance metrics/KPI’s relative to the Warehouse Operation; report trends to senior management with improvement plans/ corrective action plans as needed by keeping track of quality, quantity, stock levels, delivery times, transport costs and efficiency
  • In conjunction with the Director of Regulatory Adherence ensure and comply with laws, Resolve any arising problems or complaints
  • Oversee the management of our third-party logistic facilities and vendor regulations, ISO 13485/ISO 9001 and FDA 21 CFR Part 820 requirements
  • Act as the subject-matter expert, providing guidance, recommendations, facilitation, and coaching throughout the organization and within the executive leadership team

Required Qualifications:
  • 10+ years of experience in logistics and distribution of medical devices
  • BS or Trade School in Business Administration, Logistics or Supply Chain
  • Experience in ISO 13485 / ISO 9001; FDA 21 CFR Part 820
  • Experience working in an FDA Registered Kitting & Bundling Facility or FDA manufacture
  • Experience with Telemedicine Regulatory Compliance
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Proven record of successful distribution and logistics management
  • Demonstrable ability to lead and manage staff
  • Demonstrable ability to manage contract manufactures and sub-contractors.
  • Proficient in standard logistics, inventory/asset management software
  • Excellent analytical, problem solving and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects
