The Special Projects Coordinator assumes responsibility for the development and implementation of various special projects in order to benefit the organization, patient experience, community and/or co-worker professional practice environment. Focus may include such applications as: ANCC Magnet certification process, promotion of nursing research activities, and other projects and programs as directed by the Director of Nursing. Participates in major hospital wide projects and serves as a consultant and facilitator to promote assigned project(s). Self directed and uses independent judgement in interpreted policy/procedure. Knows and lives the Mission, Vision, Values, and Guiding Principles of the Sisters of Mercy Health System and Mercy Health Center. Aligns personal beliefs and values to bring congruence and meaning to daily work.
Because you’re committed to excellence, you understand the importance of being properly prepared for your role at Mercy. That’s why you’ll bring to your role the right set of qualifications:
Licensure: Professional Registered Nurse with current license to practice in the State of Oklahoma. Manager - BSN Required , Masterd Preferred
Experience: At least five years of hospital experience in the Mercy system is required. Experience in various job roles and responsibilities is desirable. Previous experience in program planning and development is useful.
Preferred Education: Masters degree in Nursing Administration is preferred.
