Wells Fargo Technology sets IT strategy; enhances the design, development, and operations of our systems; optimizes the Wells Fargo infrastructure footprint; provides information security; and enables continuous banking access through in-store, online, ATM, and other channels to Wells Fargo’s more than 70 million global customers.

The Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) team provides full lifecycle management for approximately a million digital certificates (electronic IDs) to entities (people, machines, applications, websites, etc.) used to enable information security services providing data confidentiality, integrity verification, and sender (and possibly receiver) authentication.  Wells Fargo's PKI services are consumed by team members, partners, and customers of Wells Fargo.

The position’s responsibilities center on supporting the PKI Engagement & Support team and are focused on working with partners to support PKI services and remediate certificate related issues ensuring the security of the Wells Fargo network and sensitive data within the Enterprise.

Key functions performed are not limited to:
• Provide technical support for the use and management of digital certificates to Application, Database, Network, OS, and Web administrators.
• Performing administrative tasks such as developing on call schedules, developing /posting metrics, and collecting evidence for audit.

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of information security administration experience
  • 1+ year of public key infrastructure experience
  • 1+ years of technical troubleshooting experience
  • 2+ years of experience administering and supporting server-based operating systems such as Windows or Unix

  • Solid knowledge and understanding of information security practices and policies
  • Good verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

  • Knowledge and understanding of SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) Internet security protocol
  • Advanced Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint) skills
  • Professional presentation skills
  • Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
  • Process definition and documentation experience
  • Remedy experience
  • SharePoint experience



Job Expectations

  • Ability to work on call as assigned
  • Flexibility to frequently be on call beyond normal working hours
