You’ve come to the right place. We’re looking for someone efficient, hungry, and collaborative to help our Agile marketing team drive results for some of the largest—and most recognizable—brands in the world.

 

As a Marketing Project Manager, you’ll act as a bridge between leadership and the teams tasked with the execution of a project. You’ll work alongside Website Managers, Marketing Directors, Account Managers, and Creatives, and will report to the Manager of Marketing Project Management. 

 

You’ll also monitor progress, define goals, and develop timelines. More specifically, you’ll keep us on track.

 

Breaking Down Your Day-to-Day

  • Own brand team’s sprint plan and Issue Request Queue in Jira
  • Simultaneously manage multiple projects that vary in size, scope, and difficulty (bugs, page builds, site builds, urgent brand requests, compliance issues, updates, maintenance, multi-team, cross-departmental)
  • Manage team member schedules as they pertain to sprint goals
  • Identify and explain dependencies and milestones, while tracking progress of projects
  • Track sprint velocity and burndown
  • Identify and remove any roadblocks
  • Work with the team to ensure thorough scopes are created before projects enter production
  • Manage and communicate shifting priorities to ensure projects reach completion by expected due dates
  • Build project backlog and sprint plans in collaboration with the Marketing Manager and cross-functional team members 
  • Own and facilitate communication in Daily Standups, Backlog Planning, Backlog Refinement, Sprint Planning, and Sprint Retrospective meetings
  • Present regular status reports to team leadership
  • Be a key contributor to a culture of accountability
  • Act as a go-to resource for project-related questions and concerns
  • Attend regularly scheduled client meetings

 

What You Need

  • Bachelor's degree or greater 
  • 3+ years’ experience as a project manager (main role)
  • Experience managing projects involving multiple resources and channels
  • Excellent project- and time-management skills
  • Experience working with Jira preferred
  • Familiarity with both Agile and Waterfall workflow methodologies and Scrum framework preferred
  • CSM or A-CSM certification preferred
  • Exceptional attention to detail and meticulous organization
  • Ability to assume new responsibilities as priorities change
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Strong relationship-building skills
  • Collaborative work style
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to operate within a team of Project Managers to learn and grow
