This Operational Risk Consultant 4 will be an individual contributor who partners with Wells Fargo Technology (WFT) business partners, policy owners, and Independent Risk Management partners to address and support WFT's ongoing adherence to Information Security and Technology policies. Additionally, this Consultant may be accountable for conducting assessments and gathering evidence to demonstrate adequacy of risk management practices associated with policy adherence. The Consultant may also perform ongoing analysis and monitoring/assessment activities, and produce actionable reporting that can be used to clearly articulate degrees of adherence and highlight required remediation. The person in this role will be responsible to evaluate processes, controls, tools, applications, and related evidence associated with the management of technology and/or information security risk. 



Required Qualifications

  • 6+ years of experience in compliance, operational risk management (includes audit, legal, credit risk, market risk, or the management of a process or business with accountability for compliance or operational risk), or a combination of both; or 6+ years of IT systems security, business process management or financial services industry experience, of which 3+ years must include direct experience in compliance, operational risk management, or a combination of both

  • Customer service focus with the ability to respond to requests in a timely manner



Other Desired Qualifications
  • 6+ years of experience in data analytics and reporting to include 3+ years in risk reporting
  • Ability to manage complex issues and large amounts of data
  • Advanced analytical skills with the ability to solve complex technical problems with data analysis
  • Strong hands-on background that includes evaluation of processes, controls, tools, applications, and related evidence associated with the management of technology and/or information security risk
