The Payments, Virtual Solutions, and Innovation (PVSI) team includes Operations, Consumer Credit Card, Retail Services, Consumer Deposits, the Innovation Group, Treasury Management, Merchant Services, Marketing and Wells Fargo Virtual Channels and the professional services teams that partner with these businesses. PVSI's focus is on delivering the next generation of payments and deposit capabilities and advancing our digital and online offerings to design new customer experiences and products. The Roles with Treasury Merchant & Payment Solutions Control

This newly created position within the PVSI Business Control organization support the Treasury Merchant & Payment Solutions business. The candidate in this position is aligned to Merchant Processing and Alliance Business Control and will be joining the Merchant Operations, Customer Care & Alliance Oversight team. This position is responsible for the identification, assessment, monitoring, and management of non-financial risks related to Merchant Operations. The role will provide business executives with an aggregate view of risks for their respective business processes, as well as assurance of the effectiveness and sustainability of the controls established, including risk assessment and escalation of process and control related issues. The Operational risk consultant 4 will work with the most complex business processes and provide risk advisory generally spanning multiple business groups and risk types in order to identify risks and controls. Additionally, the person in this position must have the ability to collaborate on effective solutions and drive execution/delivery across multiple organizations.



Required Qualifications

  • 6+ years of experience in compliance, operational risk management (includes audit, legal, credit risk, market risk, or the management of a process or business with accountability for compliance or operational risk), or a combination of both; or 6+ years of IT systems security, business process management or financial services industry experience, of which 3+ years must include direct experience in compliance, operational risk management, or a combination of both
  • 3+ years of full-cycle credit experience including testing and control.
  • 2+ years of Business Process Risk Management program experience including scoring, mapping, building business processes and their associated risk and controls information
